Maternity to motherhood is an exciting journey. 

We’re passionate about helping you navigate the physical and psychological changes you and your baby are experiencing. Our Bright Beginnings Childbirth Class is taught by Maternal/Child Services registered nurses with over 50 years of combined experience. And, we’re moms, too! So, relax. 

Topics cover a variety of topics such as the admission process, signs of labor, proper breathing and relaxation techniques, comfort and pain management options, labor induction and Cesarean delivery. In addition, we’ll also discuss the postpartum period, as well as, newborn safety. And…we’ll tour IMC’s Labor & Delivery unit where you’ll find the latest technological advancements in maternal health and the comforts of home.
