Cardiac Rehab

The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation (Cardiac Rehab) department, conveniently located on the North Campus, offers a program designed to meet the needs of patients with a variety of cardiovascular histories, including heart attack, coronary bypass surgery, stable angina and coronary artery disease.

In addition, the program addresses the needs of patients with lung diseases such as COPD, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, asthma and chronic lung disease.

The program provides medically supervised and monitored exercise therapy, nutritional counseling, comprehensive patient education, psychological support and health enhancement.
The Cardiac Rehab department at Iberia Medical Center is proud of its certification by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). AACVPR Program Certification is recognition of a provider’s commitment to improving the quality of life of patients by enhancing our standards of care.
